Claro / Círio de Nazaré

In Belém do Pará, every year we have the Círio de Nazaré, the largest religious event in Brazil, declared a Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. It gathers more than 2 million people annually for a procession honoring Our Lady of Nazaré.

The term “Círio”, from the Latin cereus, means a large wax candle. To visually translate this, we created an identity based on candle textures in a typical Círio de Nazaré setting, featuring crowds, faith, and deep connections.
